UST/AST SUPPORT SERVICES

The environmental damages associated with underground storage tank (UST) systems are one of the areas of major regulatory effort by the federal and local government.   A remediation of soils and groundwater pollute by hazard contaminant originate of UST affect property value and owner liability.  Current federal regulations require owners and operators of UST systems to identify, report in use and obsoleteness or in disuse tank, populations and implement design measures to prevent leakage.  EHSS can provide full UST system management.

Projects relating to underground and above ground storage tank remediation require specific written and operational guidelines for the compliance with health and safety regulations  established  by  EPA,  OSHA  and  local  regulatory agency  guidelines  and submitted to the respective agencies for approval prior to commencement of work.

EHSS provides engineering, industrial hygiene and training services for UST/AST remediation activities typically involving written plans and programs, certified industrial hygiene (CIH) services, QA/QC systems management services, site safety supervision, and training services for the fuel storage tank program.
